The article presents "Does Working from Home Work? Evidence from A Chinese Experiment" where co-authors Nicholas Bloom, James Liang and John Roberts provides the results of a randomized experiment that measured the productivity of employees working at home against those working in one of China's travel agency CTrip's call centers. It indicates that the home worker group increased productivity by 13% over the trial's 9 month time without measurable difference in the calls' quality.
